Positions Available

Do you enjoy working with a team of hardworking geologists and mining professionals? The Project Team Leader co-ordinates the day to day operations and works with suppliers, contractors and our staff to keep things moving!

duties:

  • Provide required safety support to the operations projects.
  • Ensure project start-ups are assigned the required safety resources.
  • Initiate and participate in risk Assessments for new projects as required.

requirements:

  • 10-12 years in underground hard rock mining health and safety management.
  • 5+ years of practical mining experience considered an asset.
  • CRSP designation or willingness and ability to obtain.

Queensland Minerals is operating in an area rich in diverse and unique flora and fauna. The Environmental Officer works in liasion with government departments, local communities and land owners to maintain a balance between our operations and the environment. Our program of sustaining the natural heritage of the project area is an exciting responsibility.

More than a handyman, this position puts you in charge of keeping our equipment, facilities and supplies in a continuous state of readiness. Vehicle maintenance, site maintenance including preparation of equipment are just some of the key responsibilities of this position.
